Azul Diving Center Madeira is a top service SSI and PADI dive center located at Penha França Mar Hotel in the heart of Funchal on beautiful Madeira Island. Our focus is on custom-tailored dive trips, high quality standard training and small, fun groups of people!

Come and follow an SSI or PADI course, from beginners to professional levels, with one of our qualified instructors. Azul Diving is also an SSI Instructor Training Facility and has been awarded for its quality and positive impact in the diving industry.

Explore Madeira dive sites

We run daily boat trips (2 tanks dive trip in the morning at 9h and one tanks dive in the afternoon at 15h00) to dive in the most exciting dive sites of the island: Garajau National park and Cabo Girão Marine park. They are all characterized by extremely rich biodiversity, clear waters and an abundance of marine life!

This zone is a paradise for underwater photography.

Divers may find here tunas, mackerels, large groupers, barracudas, huge stingrays, morays etc. In addition, from time to time we have the chance to spot some amazing creatures, such as frogfish, huge round stingrays, sea horses and turtles.

The average depth is 15-20 m.

If you like wreck diving we can take you to explore the TOP CLASS wreck of the Corveta Afonso Cerqueira F488 located in the Marine Park of Cabo Girão, an authentic artificial reef or the Pronto Wreck at 30mt right in front of our dive shop.

We are just closed on Sundays :)
